Bright lights and dancing holograms compete for attention all around, but one neon sign shines above the rest: The Outer Limits. You might’ve been nervous for your first time out at this secretive, exclusive club, but as you scan the line of exotic animals in even more exotic clothes in front of you, those nerves turn to excitement. Maybe you’re here to make some new friends, show off a daring outfit, buy a new toy at the shops nearby, or just dance to the best music in the city! Whatever you’re here for, as the bouncer opens the door and waves you inside, the dazzling lights and thumping beats tell the same story: the night is young, and yours to explore…
Final details and Vendor Applications for The Outer Limits will be announced closer to the event dates for ANE 2027, so please keep an eye on our socials!
The Outer Limits for 2026 is happening Friday, January 16th from 10PM to 1AM… come join us for a night out in Neo-Boston!
The Outer Limits is ANE’s premiere adult-oriented celebration! Strut your stuff as you shop at our vendor area for exclusive 18+ swag, pose for pics with our talented photographers, catch some exclusive performances, and dance along to some wild beats! From drag queens to playful pups and ponies, we’ve got a little something for whatever your heart desires.
While we encourage gear, fursuits, and racy outfits, we must comply with Massachusetts laws and local regulations. This means everyone needs to keep “genitalia, the genital area, pubic hair, buttocks, and breasts” covered at all times. In the interest of safety for you and those around you, please leave leashes and other restrictive gear in your rooms.
We encourage you to review our convention Code of Conduct for more details. If in doubt, email us at [email protected], or ask in person on-site, and we’ll be happy to clarify. Staff always have the final say over what’s appropriate: if a staff member informs you that you need to change your outfit, please head back to your room and change. We want to make sure that this is a safe and fun event for everyone!
The Outer Limits is open to Anthro New England attendees ages 18+. IDs will be checked upon registration, and badges will be checked at the door of the event.
Please have your convention badge and 18+ wristband ready to be checked upon arrival at the event. If you did not receive an 18+ wristband at Registration, bring a valid ID and our Safety team will provide one.

Everyone turns their head as you breeze past—animals, humans, and so many mysterious creatures… Set foot on the red carpet and strike your most seductive poses. It’s time to steal hearts and own the night!
The Photo Team will be running a pop-up photo studio at the Night Market! Flaunt your exotic outfits and seductive poses for our photographers as you walk along the red carpet! The Photo Zone will be open from 10 PM–1 AM.
