Yeehaw, Partners! The dust has finally settled out on the frontier, and what a wild ride Anthro New England 2026 was!

Whether you moseyed on down to Boston for your very first ANE or you’ve been riding with our posse for all eleven years so far, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you for making “It’s a Western!” such an incredible weekend here with us.

Even with the hustle and bustle of the frontier, our wonderful staff and volunteers worked tirelessly to keep everything moving right along. We’re so incredibly grateful for their dedication with helping ANE run as smoothly as it did, and we’re already hard at work improving things for next year.

It’s numbers time again! A staggering 7,284 of you crossed the plains and traveled the oceans to join us in Boston, of which 848 of you participated in the fursuit parade, and with your incredibly generosity, we raised an astounding $50,000 for our two amazing charities: Wings of the Dawn and Queer Scouts!

We want to tip our ten-gallon hats to our phenomenal 2026 Guests of Honor: Rito Bandtio, Sleepy Stag Suits and The Stupendium! They brough so much creativity, music, and energy to our wonderful city this year, helping to craft an unforgettable events list that brought our Western theme to life in the best ways possible.

Rito Bandito in particular worked with their Scrungle.co team to animate some beautiful, goofy, and incredible animations for both our Big Screen in the Westin’s lobby, and our Closing Ceremonies! If you haven’t seen these, you can view them on our Youtube channel. Please show Scrungle.co some love for their hard work, and thank you to Rito for making this all happen!

We’re thrilled to add that our Video Team expanded it’s coverage this year, capturing even more main events than last year. These will be edited and posted to our Youtube channel later this year, so keep an eye out! On the photos side, our Photo Team has been on it this year, and has already posted all of the photos from our Photo Room, and the Fursuit Photo for viewing on our media page.

We’re happy to report that thanks to some diligent staff and a tracker, we were able to make sure Copley made it to Boston for the Western this year. No unscheduled cross-country train robberies or secret vacations for the deer this year!

And last – a big thank you to the wonderful folks at Furality! Their staff were happy to collaborate with our team and filmed a adorable little short with Copley as a promo for their next virtual convention, Furality ULTRA! You can check out their website here.

Now, what’s next? ANE’s theme for 2027 will be Sleepytime!

Alongside that theme, we’re thrilled to announce our Guests of Honor for 2027! Please, give a warm, cozy welcome to Snack Pony, Prismpaws, and Sean Chiplock! We’re already planning some special fun things with them, so please keep an eye on our socials for more with what’s coming next year.

And now, cozy up, get comfortable, and be ready to dream big, with Sleepytime!🌟
